Summer is our favorite time of year. We have a wide range of offerings.

Camp dates: June 2nd- thru June 20th

Camp days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (9:30-1) No camp on Fridays

Performances Friday, June 20th 1:00 p.m and 6:30 p.m.

Cost $475 (40 contact hours/$11.75 per hour). Note: Global Arts students: $350

Global Learning Arts Academy

Shakespeare-A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bard Bus)

Apex Theatre Studio will present its fifth annual Bard Bus, a touring production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This year the company will perform at five different venues in the Northeast Florida area over the course of ten days. (June 12th-28th ). Roles are available for a cast of twenty.

Rehearsals May 1^st through June 12^th.

Tuition: $450 Payment plans available.

July Theatre Camp (a little bit of everything)

Our July summer camp gives students a sampling of all sorts of theatre activities including Improv, Audition techniques, Stage Combat, and One Act presentation. You can take the whole session or enroll for one specific week or day.

We are joining forces with Nease Highschool after a successful collaboration (The Sound of Music) to offer a musical theatre experience for students ages 10 and up.Disney’s Dare to Dream JR. is a 60-minute musical revue that follows an eager group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. As the group sets out to help each other discover their dreams, they work together to explore the power of dreams to unite, inspire, and make anything possible. Drawing from a century of beloved Disney films, Dare to Dream JR. features songs appearing for the first time ever in a Disney stage musical, including fan-favorites from The Princess and the Frog, Coco, Encanto, and Frozen II.

We will meet Monday thru Thursday (July 7th thru July 17th) at Nease High School. Our day will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 1:30 p.m.

A typical day looks like this:

9:00-9:30 Physical, vocal, and ensemble warmup

9:30-10:15 Creative Improv with Level Up Improv

10:20-11:30 Breakout session #1 (Vocal/Movement/Staging)

11:30-12:00 Lunch

12:00-1:15 Breakout session #2 (Vocal/Movement/Staging)

1:15-1;30 p.m. Recap, review, games

Anyone who registers will be part of the show. We will have auditions the first and second day for particular roles in the show. Some of the roles will be played by teaching artists. We will provide material to look at prior to the start of camp for review.
