Apex presents Harrison, Texas: an evening of short plays by Horton Foote

Apex Theatre Studio continues its season with two charming one act plays by Horton Foote. The Blind Date and The Dancers provide an evening of funny and touching characters studies rendered by one of America’s most prominent playwrights in the last century. This double bill features students from the advanced acting workshop at Apex Theatre Studio.

            In The Blind Date a fluttery well-meaning aunt tries to arrange a date for her visiting (and uncooperative niece.) New York magazine declared “The Blind Date is understatedly funny and uninsistently touching, full of lived humanity.”

            In The Dancers two lonely people are drawn to each other. After abandoning his date with a popular and pretty girl in town, an awkward young man strikes up a connection with local girl who struggles with confidence.
