Apex presents Barefoot In The Park

Apex Theatre Studio will present the classic newlywed comedy Barefoot In The Park by Neil Simon September 20^th -28^th at their black box theatre in World Golf Village.

                  Paul and Corrie Bratter are newlyweds in every sense of the word. If the adage “opposites attract” hold true, these two collide daily as they set up house in an overpriced, underwhelming fifth floor studio apartment in the New York of the 1960s.  Throw in Corrie’s uptight and nervous mother and a cagey but charming upstairs neighbor into the mix, and a forty-eight-hour marathon of hilarious plot twists takes the couple of a rocky voyage of self-discovery.

                  First produced on the Broadway stage in 1963, featuring a star making performance by a young Robert Redford, this chronicle of young love has withstood the comedy test of time.  It features studio faculty Isabel Dondero and Joshua Sewell as Paul and Corrie.
