Auditions for Antigone (fall studio show)

ANTIGONE-by Sophocles, adapted by Don Taylor (ages 11-17)

Production dates: October 19^th-27^th (Black Box production and tour)

Auditions: Monday, August 28^th    5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Rehearsals Mondays 5:00-6:45 p.m. Wednesdays 4:30-6:00 p.m. select Saturdays 1:30-3:30 p.m.  (August 30^th-October 18^th) Holidays: Labor Day (September 3^rd)

Tuition: $400 (40 hours/10.00 per hour)

Synopsis: The new king, Creon, is desperate to gain control ravaged by civil war and refuses to bury the body of Antigone’s rebellious brother. Outraged, she defies him and honors her brother. Creon takes action against her, risking the wrath of the gods.
