Auditions for Antigone (fall studio show)

ANTIGONE-by Sophocles, adapted by Don Taylor (ages 11-17)

Production dates: October 19th-27th (Black Box production and tour)

Auditions: Monday, August 28th    5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Rehearsals Mondays 5:00-6:45 p.m. Wednesdays 4:30-6:00 p.m. select Saturdays 1:30-3:30 p.m.  (August 30th-October 18th) Holidays: Labor Day (September 3rd)

Tuition: $400 (40 hours/10.00 per hour)

Synopsis: The new king, Creon, is desperate to gain control ravaged by civil war and refuses to bury the body of Antigone’s rebellious brother. Outraged, she defies him and honors her brother. Creon takes action against her, risking the wrath of the gods.
