Auditions for She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen. Roles available for 7 females and 3 males ages 11-17. Rehearsals Mondays 5-7:00 p.m.

Wednesdays 5-7:00 p.m. and Saturdays 11:30-1:15 p.m.

Performances February 20th-22nd.

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
ALL ROLES AVAILABLE. We are seeking a diverse cast, and people of all gender identities, body types, ethnicities and sexual orientations will be considered. Performers with stage combat, dance, cheerleading, gymnastic and puppeteering experience are strongly encouraged to audition.

TILLY EVANS (F, 15 Years Old)
Nerdy, sarcastic, bullied teen; appears to Agnes after her death; stage combat involved

AGNES EVANS (F,)
Tilly’s older sister, high school teacher dealing with Tilly’s death; described as average, clueless to nerd culture; stage combat involved

CHUCK
Runs a comic book store grunge rocker roadie, assists Agnes in learning D&D

MILES
Agnes’s boyfriend, as average as Agnes. Should be comfortable with expressing every ugly misogynistic stereotype, but then turns around and grows and changes into someone at least tolerable.

LILITH
D&D character in Tilly’s adventure, Demon Queen, kicks butt and takes names; stage combat involved

KALIOPE
D&D character, Dark Elf, empowered, hard as nails spell caster; stage combat involved

ORCUS
D&D character, Overlord of the Underworld;  stage combat involved

STEVE the MAGE
D&D character, super nerdy spell caster; several death scenes involved as a running gag in the play; must be able to scream/yell

NARRATOR / FARRAH / EVIL TINA
Farrah: Fairy that lives in a forest, kind of a jerk; stage combat involved. Evil Tina: D&D character, teenage bully, appears as a cheerleader with fangs.

VERA / EVIL GABBI / THE BEHOLDER
Vera: High school guidance counselor, Agnes’s friend, sarcastic and saucy. Evil Gabbi: D&D character, teenage bully, appears as a cheerleader with fangs. The Beholder: Giant eyeball monster, abililty to shriek a plus.
