Cast out your cockneys and leave that stale fruit cake at home—enter a world of grits and gravy, red velvet cake, and the occasional glass of sweet tea. Eb Scrooge is a modern spin on a timeless classic captures present-day life in Northeast Florida, while maintaining the spirit of Dicken’s beloved tale of greed and redemption. It features a cast of young artists from the Ponte Vedra area as well as professional guest artists Andy Nance and Brooks Anne Meierdierks in the leading roles of Scrooge and Bertha. Auditions: Sunday, September 25th 1:30-4:00 p.m.
The Diary of Anne Frank is one of the most famous and haunting stories to emerge from the 20th Century. The memoirs of this young Jewish girl, forced to hide for nearly two years to escape Nazi persecution, are an essential part of how we remember one of the darkest periods of our human history.

The Apex Theatre Studio will presents The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged on Saturday, October 8th in Gulliford Hall at the Adele Grage Community Center in Atlantic Beach, Florida. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 general admission and $15 for students and seniors. A small band of madcap performers in Elizabethan dress (and sneakers) weave their way through all thirty-seven of Shakespeare's tragedies, comedies, and histories at a break neck pace. It’s an irreverent rollercoaster ride through all of the Bard's plays. The show originally premiered in London and went on to become its longest running comedy. The Today show declared "If you like Shakespeare you'll love this show, if you hate Shakespeare, you'll love this show."

Beth is pretty, popular, a valued member of the Sub-Regional Champion competitive cheer squad, and relatively happy with her life. But when a late-night Ouija board session proclaims that she will become assistant cheer captain, an unexpected and ridiculous series of supernatural events are triggered. As Beth's thirst for power grows, her moral compass goes into a tailspin -- and her popularity-hungry mom and best friend aren't helping. A campy, female-centered, modernized version of Shakespeare's dark classic.
